Our Male Athlete of the Week is Braxton Harris. Coach says "Braxton racked up 9 tackles and 1 interception, showing relentless effort from start to finish. He’s a hard worker, a leader both on and off the field, and a true example of what it means to compete with heart." Very proud of this young man and his effort and leadership. Our Female Athlete of the week is Lynessa Knight! Coach says "Lynessa is always positive, takes on leadership roles, and consistently puts her academics first. She is a great example of what it means to balance responsibility, positivity, and dedication." Very proud of Lynessa and her leadership in our school. She is also in Bulldogs Belong, Cheer and runs track. Thank you for being a great leader, Lynessa! #TheBulldogWay

Our Female Athlete of the Week is Kayla Davis!!! Coach says "This week volleyball would like to nominate Kayla Davis for being encouraging to her teammates. Kayla is always cheerful and positive at volleyball. She cheers for teammates while she is waiting on the bench to go in and in the stands while other teams are playing. Kayla gives credit to who deserves it but doesn't get enough credit herself for being such an amazing young lady."

Our Female Athlete of the Week is Kindall Mitchell! Coach says "Kindall Mitchell is the volleyball Athlete of the Week. Kindall shows great teamwork on and off the court. She is encouraging to everyone, 7th and 8th graders alike. Kindall's bubbly personality helps keep the team calm in demanding game situations. She celebrates her teammates successes on the court and is encouraging to them when they are going into the game. Kindall is reliable and committed to working hard. She communicates with peers and coaches on and off of the court. Not all athletes are willing to help others but Kindall is. Time after time she steps up without being asked and shows genuine kindness. Kindall is a great example of what a great teammate looks like. "
