These awesome students collected $275.00 with their Pennies for Pups fundraiser. We have another top class that will come see us Friday. Altogether $946.71 was collected to help the animals! #thebulldogway

The student of the month for May is Katie Mah. Katie is a quiet leader in the classroom. She is always working hard to do her very best in all that she does. She is respectful to all and willing to help out anyone in need. Katie exemplifies the Bulldog Way everyday and sets an example for her peers to follow. Congratulations Katie Mah.

IMS Teacher of the Month is Tiffany Hare. Ms. Hare is a dynamic classroom teacher. She dives into student data and makes adjustments based on what students need. She cares deeply about her students and works hard to create meaningful relationships. Students report that Ms. Hare is “kind to us” and that she is a “really good teacher, she is my favorite teacher!”

Jaxon Dunn is our Male Athlete of the Week! Coach says "Jaxon is a hard working kid who does whatever is asked of him and beyond. He is a great teammate and sets the example of excellence on and off the track. He is a student in two of my classes, as well as an athlete, and he gets it done in the classroom as well as on the track running distance and serving as a reserve on our 8th grade boys 4 x400 team. "

Our Female Athlete of the Week is Kate Rodriquez! Coach says "Kate is a silent leader who sets a wonderful example to her teammates of hard work, dedication, and persistence. She is a great competitor who has earned multiple medals in her 1st year of track. Kate runs distance, high jumps, and is the 2nd leg of our 7th grade girls 4x400 relay. She is a joy to coach because she is willing to listen and do whatever she is asked to the best of her ability. It has been fun to watch her grow her confidence and ability this season."

Congrats to the Boys Tennis team for winning the SEK team title! This is second year in a row of winning this event! Coach Rice and Coach Brown have done a great job this year! This year they won 3 of the 4 divisions!
