Next Tuesday, October 7, our high school students will attend an assembly by Johnny's Ambassadors. Johnny's Ambassadors educates parents, teens, and communities about the dangers of today’s potent THC products, and their mission is to dramatically increase the perception of harm from teen THC use and decrease teens’ intent to use THC products.

Attention Bulldog Family,
Mystery at the Museum 3; the Ghost Wanderers! The evening surrounds a not-so-spooky Ghost Hunting this Friday, October 3rd, at 6:30 pm and Sunday, October 5th, at 2:30 pm at the Independence Historical Museum and Arts Center (123 N 8th St). This is a fundraiser for the IHS Musical and the Independence Historical Museum and Arts Center. There will be an interactive play with many mysteries to be solved throughout the museum. If you figure them out you can be placed in a raffle to win a prize. There will be a dessert table and a silent auction, as well, we have items donated from local businesses. Admission is $25 per person. Students in Drama Club, Rep Theatre and Playwriting have been working hard on this. We hope you can make it! It is a great way to support both our Musical/Drama Club and The Museum here in our hometown of Independence. We hope to see you there!

Looking to raise your ACT score and unlock new opportunities? Join Chad Cargill’s ACT Prep Workshop on October 6th @ Independence High School! This 3-hour class is packed with expert strategies designed to give 9th-12th graders the tools they need to succeed.
