The Independence band program had a wonderful day today with both bands, concert band and wind ensemble receiving 1 ratings!
Concert band received the scores 66, 69 and 72. Wind Ensemble received the scores of 71, 74, and 79!

Check out El Pond's Young Artists’ Exhibit at the Independence Historical Museum. Pond won Best of Show in the high school division with her acrylic painting featuring a series of heavy metal and thrash metal album covers. Pond is a senior at IHS and we are very proud of her. You are able to see this and other exhibits through April 11th at the museum!
