Erin Bagley is our Female Athlete of the Week! Coach says "Erin Bagley is the athlete of the week for cheer. Erin has made tremendous progress over the past few months during the various cheer sports seasons. She has more confidence, knows the moves and words to the sidelines and cheers, and she has even called out sidelines for the 7th grade squad to do. She has been dedicated to working hard and getting better with cheerleader skills. Her hard work has paid off!"

Hello future 7th and 8th graders! It is time to start thinking about the classes you want to take for 2023-2024 school year. As an IMS student, you have several choices you can make. Filling out the google form that was emailed to you, helps you get the classes you want. If you don't fill it out you will get stuck with whatever the computer puts you in. Please submit the form as soon as you fill it out. You can open it, make changes, and resubmit it as many times as you want to until it is locked on February 15th. We encourage you to discuss the options with you parents. Not every class on the enrollment form will be available. We will use this form to help us figure out which classes are most desired. If you aren't sure what a class is, you can check the Course Catalog that I am linking below or ask a teacher or counselor. The Enrollment form can only be submitted by using your school email address.

Bulldogs go to the Iola tourney and go 2-1, earning second place!!! They lost their first game against Pitt and rebounded nicely defeating Humboldt and Iola! Great effort all day, proud of this team! #TheBulldogWay
Quiz bowl results from Iola. The A squad went an undefeated 7-0 on the day to earn 1st place! B squad went 4-3 to earn 5th place! They are back in action at home on January 31! Way to go!!! #TheBulldogWay
Brayden Littlepage is our Male Athlete of the week!! Coach says “I'm nominating Brayden Littlepage for Athlete of the Week. Brayden is an amazing young man with a bright future. Brayden played football and is currently playing basketball for IMS. Brayden has done an excellent job on and off the court. What I enjoy about Brayden is how he demonstrates great leadership in our weight room. He definitely puts in the extra time and is developing a great work ethic.”

Kaylee Corish is our Female Athlete of the week! Coach says “I nominate Kaylee Corish for the female athlete of the week for Cheer. Kaylee showed dedication to her sport by attending practice (to watch) and attending games (to support her squad) while she was recovering from an injury. She showed spirit by saying the words to the sidelines and cheers even though she could not physically participate in practices and games. Kaylee has a positive attitude and that positivity helps others around her be positive too.”

This week's musician of the week will be Brooklyn Wyrick. She's a 6th grader that plays violin in the beginning orchestra. Brooklyn always comes to class with a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard, even when things get difficult. Because of her hard work, she is gaining a lot of skills on the violin. We are lucky to have her as a part of our music program here at IMS!! #TheBulldogWay

Bailey Henderson is our Female Athlete of the Week!! Her coach says "I nominate Bailey Henderson for the girl athlete of the week. Bailey always has a smile on her face and is ready to listen and learn new things. She did a great job during stunting practice and showed lots of confidence. She demonstrated leadership skills by calling sidelines for the 7th grade squad. The other girls look up to her and watch her because she knows the correct actions for the sideline chants."
