Eva McClure is our Female Athlete of the Week! Coach says "Eva McClure has been so awesome to coach this year. She caught on so fast and has truly been impressive. Technically she is advancing so fast that you would think she has been wrestling for years. We're thankful she came out and look forward to her wrestling career over the next few years. Konner Adams is our Male Athlete of the Week!! Coach says "Konner has been really impressive in his wrestling debut. Konner brings an intensity that helps him win a lot of matches. The intensity side is something you really can't teach and he certainly has it. We look forward to working with Konner in the future hope he will remain part of the bulldog wrestling family."

It's that time of year! As cold and flu season kicks into high gear, just a reminder of the district temperature policy. If your child is sick, please keep them home to help us keep from spreading it through out our student body. If you questions, please contact the IMS Clinic at 620--332-1836.
Students at IMS who have purchased a yearbook by December 20 will be entered into a drawing for a $20 Sonic gift card. The yearbook staff is working hard to make this year's book great and packed full of memories for our students.
Asia VanWinkle is our November Student of the Month!!!! Teachers say "She always has a bright and positive attitude. She is respectful of both peers and adults. Mrs. Allen's Social Studies class working on their Egyptian unit. Here are some pictures from their Egypt class projects. Students had a choice of what type of project they wanted to complete. Many chose to create their own pyramids while others chose to create special topic Google Slide presentations, ABC books, and Egypt-based creative writing short stories. Thank you Mrs. Allen for bringing history alive to you classes. #theBULLDOGway

Our Female Athlete of the week is Dylan Schnurbusch! Coach says "Dylan has been great the last two years. She always has a good attitude and has helped recruit more girls to the team. We have been blessed to have her and we are thankful to have her a part of our program. Dylan has a very bright future."

Our Male Athlete of the Week is Jack McAfee! Coach says "Jack has been so much fun to have in the room. He is built really well and is super coachable. I would be willing to bet he works hard at everything he does, you can not ask much more out of a kid. I am thankful he came out for the team and I look forward to seeing his success in everything he participates in."

This week is National School Psychology Week (NSPW) to highlight the important work school psychologists and other educators do to help all students thrive. This year's theme is "Let's Grow Together," inspired by the importance of both personal and shared strengths in our growth as individuals and school communities in every season of life. The theme recognizes every aspect of growth, as fundamental to effective learning environments and to school psychologists' role in supporting student well-being and learning.
We are blessed at IMS to have one of the best school psychologists on staff at IMS! Thank You Kelsey Tronsgard-Ellison for all you do for our staff and students!
Help IMS KAY Club Serve Our World!
IMS KAYS club as part of their global project is selling raffle tickets for a locally made K-State quilt. All proceeds will benefit the children at Tumaini Children's Home in Kenya, Africa.
Tumaini Children's Home provides daily meals, basic necessities, a safe place to live, and an education for 81 children who have been orphaned or rescued from life on the streets in Kenya.
Tickets will be sold at the IMS concession stand during IMS basketball games starting Monday, November 13. A live Facebook drawing will be held on Friday, December 15 to announce the winner.

IMS Kay Club is proud to honor all of the United States Military Service Members by placing the Missing Man Table at IMS. The Missing Man Table, sometimes referred to as the "Fallen Comrade Table," is meant to remind viewers of those fallen, missing, or imprisoned US Military Service Members. Congrats to the District Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Allen! Her colleagues say, "Mandy Allen! Wow! This girl is on it! She is SO passionate about teaching, especially Kansas History. Mandy is always going the extra mile puts in so much extra time and money into her profession. She travels all over Kansas so that she can enrich her students' knowledge of the state. She also does a great job with quiz bowl and works volleyball games! She is an incredible educator who is consistent and passionate about what she does and that is evident in the work she does every day. She never hesitates to help a fellow teacher and always goes above and beyond for her students. She is forever the model for her colleagues and her students."
