Our Male Athlete of the Week is CJ Jones! Coach says "This week’s Athlete of the Week is CJ Jones. CJ is the athlete that steps up wherever he is needed! He demonstrates the “We” over the “Me”! Whether it’s defense or offense he brings a great deal of passion every play. CJ is always stepping up and making the little plays and turns them into big game changers! One of my favorite things about CJ is his personality, always in good mood and knows how to bring the team up!"

Our Female Athlete of the Week is Tierra Gray! Coach says "Tierra Gray is our female Athlete of the week! This is Tierra’s 2nd year as our football manager. Tierra is a very dedicated young lady! Her commitment and dependability makes her a valuable part of our team. Whether it’s organizing practice or supporting players, she shows up with a great attitude and a smile to every practice. The Female Athlete of the Week is Nicole Gomez! Coach says "Nicole Gomez has been a team player since day one. She has the best sportsmanship, constantly encouraging and congratulating her teammates. Nicole is kind to everyone that she crosses paths with. She has worked hard and continues to try to improve. She listens intently to coaches and other athletes when they offer advice."

The October Teacher of the Month for IMS is Amber Rice.
Mrs. Rice creates a fun atmosphere for teachers, staff and students to work in. She has created an awesome work space for her classes using flexible seating, carpet spaces, and booths for students to sit in this school year. Mrs. Rice has also brought excitement to her Yearbook class, which is a new class for her this year. She helps out however she can, whether it be doing Academic Assistance after school or sharing her flyers for Blended Learning with IMS teachers. Mrs. Rice is a wonderful asset to the building and we are happy to have her!

Our Staff of the Month for October is Mr. Allen! Mr. Allen is new to IMS this year and works as a para. He is a great addition to our family. He works so well with the students and does a great job of helping our teachers as well. He is a student favorite! We appreciate all he does! Thank you Mr. A for modeling #TheBulldogWay always!!!!
