FREE SUMMER STEM ENRICHMENT PROGRAM FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS: Every student deserves access to a better future. That's why Verizon in partnership with the ICC Fab Lab has launched the Verizon Innovative Learning STEM Achievers program--an engaging hands-on program developed to enrich learning through design thinking, 3D printing, augmented reality, social entrepreneurship, and mentorship. This program creates a more diverse pipeline for future careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. No prior knowledge or experience required. This program will take place in person. Lunch will be provided, it is FREE to all middle school students, and transportation will be provided in varying locations. School counselors support student success, including improved ACT and SAT scores, more informed college decision-making, fewer disciplinary actions, improved attendance, and more. February is CTE Month! Career and Technical Education, or CTE, is education that directly prepares students for high-wage, high-skill, and high-demand careers.

A parent meeting for students interested in Run Club is scheduled for Monday. January 29 at 5:30PM in the Jefferson Cafeteria. Parents are encouraged to bring their child(ren) to the meeting. Shoe ordering will be taken during the parent meeting on Monday.
Run Club is for students in Kindergarten through 6th Grade. Students must be signed up to attend practices, the first of which will be Wednesday, March 6th.
Weekly practices are from 4:00-4:45 on Wednesdays during the month of March. From April 1st - May 1st, practices will be twice weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays.
