Shani Stacy, who served as our Speech Pathologist for 5 years, applied for and was awarded a Classroom Enhancement Grant through the USD 446 Education Foundation! Along with the grant, Shani and her family generously donated additional funds to ensure that each elementary school received a Communication Board for their playground! Each board has been dedicated to Shani's son, Joshua, who passed away in 2011. "Joshua was a bright spot in our lives. We wanted to help other children like him who are unable to verbally communicate. The communication board will enable nonverbal children or those who struggle with communication to have meaningful interactions with their peers and others. It was a privilege to be able to contribute and honor our son." We are so incredibly grateful to Shani, her family, and the USD 446 Education Foundation!

There is NO SCHOOL for Indy Early Learning Center tomorrow, Tuesday March 11th, for Parent Teacher conferences! We will resume our normal AM and PM sessions on Wednesday and Thursday.

Just a reminder! Tomorrow is the spring program for our MAIN building classrooms! Each class has a designated time. We ask that you come no earlier than 5 minutes before your child's performance (all family members are welcome!). Our Jefferson Classroom performance will be April 26th and we will send more information home closer to that date. Call Riley with any questions!
