Mission Statement:
The mission of Independence Elementary Schools is to work together to
provide a relevant education for all our students.
This will be accomplished
by:
1. Providing a basic education in the curriculum content areas.
2. Maintaining an appropriate learning environment.
3. Encouraging the development of a positive self-image.
4. Promoting a strong sense of responsibility and enjoyment of learning.
5. Emphasizing the application of problem solving and critical thinking
