Free Developmentally Appropriate Preschool

Eligible applicants must be four years of age on or before August 31, cannot have reached their fifth birthday and must meet at least one of the criteria listed below:

  • Living in a single parent home
  • Have a parent who was a teen parent
  • Have a parent lacking a high school diploma or GED
  • Low income (qualifies for free and reduced lunches)
  • Developmentally or academically delayed
  • DCF referral
  • Limited English proficiency
  • Child qualifies for Migrant status

Certificate of Immunization

The Kansas Departement of Health and Environment requires an appropriate series of immunizations for all children who are entering school for the first time.  

Completed immunization forms must be on file in the school office before students begin classes.  A card signed by a physicial or authorized proof from a clinic health department is required.  Parents with questions should contact Jennifer Denny, R.N., the USD 446 school nurse, through any school, or the Montgomery County Health Department at 620-331-4300.
