School Bond Issue Approved
On February 3, 2009, USD 446 voters approved a $45.1 million
school bond issue. The plan calls for:
• Construction of a new elementary school for grades 3-5
• Major renovations to the Independence Middle School, and
• Major enhancement and additions to Independence High School.
